| Born in Big Spring, TX, we moved to San Saba when I was 4 yrs. old, and I've been in Central Texas ever since. I am very lucky to have two wonderful parents, Larry and Phyllis Sheppard, who I think from day one were telling me that if you take care of people they will take care of you.
In San Saba (a small town about 40 miles from the geographical center of Texas, and the pecan capital of the world) I was raised in the heart of farm and ranch country. I come from a small town and small towns are what I love. After high school, I was accepted to, and attended Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. What a great experience! It was there that I truly learned how much I enjoyed working with people. I developed life long friendships and discovered just how important my faith and relationship with Jesus Christ is. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Development with an emphasis in Business Management. I left College Station to begin my first job as a sales specialist with Conley-Lott Nichols, Bobcat of Waco. I really enjoyed outside sales. It was a challenge and a great job. I then focused my attention toward Real Estate, and owning my own business. I even managed to do some contracting in there. But real estate is my lifes career. I love Central Texas, I live near Belton and I have enjoyed getting involved with the community and several organizations. I am a member of First Baptist Church of Belton and love working and teaching in the College Dept. I am also a member of the Greater Temple A&M Club, in which I currently serve as President. I'm involved with the Belton Chamber of Commerce as well as Leadership Belton. If I don't already know you, then I'd like to. |
